OTS offers three different types of pendulum rods: the double pendulum, the Konig pendulum, and the Persoz pendulum. It is worth noting that there is no conversion relationship between the test results of pendulum rods with different structures, masses, sizes, and periods because the interaction between pendulum rods and coatings also depends on the complex elasticity and viscosity of the coating. Therefore, when determining the damping time of a certain paint film in the product standard, only one pendulum rod is specified.

- Using electromagnet to release the pendulum needle, the test results are more accurate;
